I have always loved when a story I’m reading includes cooking. If the writer is talented in description, I can actually smell the aromatics, hear the sizzles and clanks as they cook… often times I must set the book down to go myself into the kitchen to make the recipe or endure a terrible craving!

How exciting to find this book full of recipes inspired from some of my favorite pieces of literature!!!

Today I made her recipe for biscuits with molasses butter inspired by To Kill a Mockingbird. Easy to follow directions and excellent outcome!
