homemade "non-cookies"
Trying new things can be scary but I find adding chocolate can help. We all crave a cookie now and then but when you're working on your body goals a cookie may not be something that you want to do. Enter the non-cookie. It's sort of like a cookie but it's much more healthy for you.
This non-cookie is made with heart healthy oats and antioxidant dark chocolate. Enjoy!
1 cup muesli (Bob's Red Mills)
1 cup quick cooking oats
2 ripe bananas (mashed with fork)
1/2 cup sunflower butter
1/2 cup bittersweet chips (ghirardelli)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Combine all ingredients
Drop spoonfuls of batter onto parchment - press gently with fork to flatten into cookie shape. (they don't change shape while baking)
Bake for 15 minutes, turning sheet halfway through.
MAKES: 18 cookies CALORIES: ~120 each
