homemade chocolate peanut butter healthy fat bombs
These are great if you're trying to get more healthy fats into your daily diet. They also help when you're craving a chocolate treat but you have body goals.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup creamy natural peanut butter (no sugar added pb)
1 cup almond flour
1/4 cup powdered sugar (optional - use less and less each time you make it)
dark chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS:
combine the pb, powdered sugar, and flour. place dough in the freezer for an hour to chill.
roll mixture into balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Place in freezer to chill.
melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler until you can just stir it into a smooth consistency.
dip balls into the melted chocolate coating entirely and then placing back on the frozen sheet - use a spoon or fork to lower into chocolate and remove.
work quickly. if your dough starts getting too soft place the entire sheet back into the freezer to chill. rewarm chocolate if it starts to harden.
after all balls are dipped - refreeze until totally hard.
place chocolate pb balls in a covered container and store in the refrigerator.
